The event branding was inspired by the Newberry Library's architecture as well as their collection of books. The design features rich, jewel-toned panels with gold detailing and stylized typography to evoke the look and feel of classic book spines. Event materials included posters, social media graphics, email campaigns, and signage for the event itself.

I illustrated the front exterior of the library as a prominent feature of the design. The Newberry team loved the design so much that Chicago Fair Trade gifted them a framed version of the vertical poster, which was also used for digital displays.
