3D-Printed Ceramics

The ceramics studio at McHenry County College has a Potterbot 9 XL clay 3D printer, which I used to create these pieces. Unlike many clay printers that only print with slip, the Potterbot extrudes solid clay. If you've ever iced a cake with a piping bag, it's a lot like that… just less edible and a fair bit heavier.
