This is the first fair trade museum in the entire world! It was created by Chicago Fair Trade to educate visitors about fair trade principles, the history of the movement, and the impact of fair trade on communities around the world. The museum features interactive exhibits, artifacts, and multimedia presentations. The museum started as a pop-up exhibit and has since become a permanent installation.

Events are often held there to promote fair trade awareness, such as the 2023 World Fair Trade Day celebration.

I designed the branding, exhibit signage, and promotional materials for the museum as well as several hosted events. One prominent design theme draws from loterìa cards, a traditional Mexican game similar to bingo. These cards feature colorful illustrations and are often used in Mexican culture to tell stories and convey messages. I created custom loterìa cards based on sketches from the CFT Executive Director's child, incorporating fair trade principles and values throughout the museum and event materials.
