Static site for Potterware, a project of Emerging Objects that explores the intersection of ceramics and 3D printing. The site features a clean, minimal design with neutral colors so that the imagery is the superstar. The documentation section provides detailed information on how to use the Potterware software, as well as tutorials for those interested in learning more about 3D-printed ceramics.

A minimal homepage design with stark, clean typography and a large hero image of 3D-printed pottery on a wooden table.

This was an exciting project, as it was born from a collaboration with Tom Vician, a professor at McHenry County College. When MCC purchased a Potterbot 3D printer, they licensed Potterware to help students design their own forms. However, we found that the existing documentation was sparse and difficult to navigate. I worked with Tom (and later, Lynda Weinman) to write all of the documentation, create reference materials, and provide sample projects.
